This may look unimpressive... And it is, BUT there are many new techniques I've used so far in development, I'll list off every new thing!
1: this is my first pico-8 game to utilize a camera system! (It's just used to take you between levels)
2: dynamic hazards!
In my previous games, every object was copy-pasted, which is really inefficient, but this one utilizes tables, so we can have as many items as we want without having to copy code!
3: multiple characters!
I'm not gonna say who yet, since all the appearances aren't set in stone, but the framework is there!
4: and of course, Free movement.
NO LONGER ARE WE TRAPPED IN THREE SPECIFIC LANES!!!
(I also want to do lives, but it isn't implemented yet)
